Fundamentally, talent is something you are born with (e.g. being fast, extroverted, great hand-eye coordination, amazing voice), whereas a skill is something that can be taught (e.g. the law, customer service, how to code).
Is dancing a soft skill?
The contemporary dance practice, in which the creative body is central and which is often practiced in collaboration with others, seems to be an excellent example of a practice that helps people of all ages develop soft skills.

Performance skills are observable, goal-directed actions and consist of motor skills, process skills, and social interaction skills. Performance skills are evaluated and analyzed by occupational therapists during actual activity performance, with real objects, in a natural context, and often in the presence of others.
